My Story
How I Began and Where I’m Headed
As a women and a mother of two daughters, I knew that it was time to do it different. Â I didn't want my daughters to grow up with the same struggles. Â I spent most of my years on diets, having poor body image, and feeling as though taking care of others first was my job. Â I wasn't sleeping well, always felt as though there was never enough time, I was tired, depleted and always working through anxiety and stress. Â Managing kid schedules, working, there never seemed to be enough time for me. Â Then unexpectedly my health was forged into the front seat. Â I felt a lump in my breast. Â I made the very difficult decision to have a preventative double mastectomy. Â My mom had breast cancer, and after having multiple breast biopsies, and had irregular cells detected, multiple surgical oncologist opinions, I went with the aggressive option. Â After my surgery, when my breast tissue was sent to pathology. Â They found breast cancer. Â This was a moment in time that stood still. Â As I recovered in a very different body than I started with, I was pulled in a direction of learning my body. Â Learning how to care for myself spiritually, mentally and physically so I can find the best perspective to feel good during a time that did not feel good. I knew that this hurdle presented an even bigger purpose. Â I spent the next year studying and learning my body, my health, and ways that I could help others find a way to make themselves the priority. Learning that our health is not only connected to what we put into our body but how we take care of our body. Â How we care for our mind, our spirit, our connections. Â A way to love ourselves and create a life that brings joy and connection. Â Health is a verb. Â I believe that we support our own physical health through the choices we make. Â We are bio individuals, so each approach is unique. Â Our needs and circumstances are constantly changing, so my approach is making sustainable shifts. Small changes leads to big results over time. Â A life-style that creates an abundance mindset. Â The best approaches are the ones that work for you, so we work together to honor your needs, process, and goals. Â I create a very personalized approach to personal wellness. Â I believe that in order to make a difference in the world. Â We LOVE ourselves. I believe that everyone needs a guide on the side. Â Beauty comes from connection and I want to help guide you to the best version of you.Â
I create a very personalized approach that works for the individual and their lifestyle. You are important and life does not stop for our needs.  We must make the time. Make the time for our health, make the time for our wellbeing.  We can't afford to wait, which I have learned through my own health journey.  Health is not a one size fits all.  And I am so happy you are here.
